About Hoemoor Farm

A relaxing holiday cottage in the heart of the Blackdown Hills

Hoemoor Bungalow is located on our working dairy farm on the Devon and Somerset border overlooking the beautiful Otter Valley within the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

From the front of the bungalow, you look over the farm across the fields and down the Otter Valley. At the back, you look up over the fields where the cows will be grazing, and if you are lucky enough you might get to watch a cow calf from your armchair. There are always plenty of birds or wildlife to watch from any of the windows.

Kylie, our Kelpie-cross-Labrador, will be the first to greet you on arrival. She has a lovely nature and her main pastime is playing with anyone who has the time.

Wonderful and very complete cottage in a beautiful surrounding.

Of the 3 times we’ve stayed at the farm, there’s never been a dull moment. Who even needs to leave the bungalow. Pauline and Kevin, you help everyone feel welcome with your down to earth friendly attitude. The bungalow itself is perfect just the way it is. I would highly recommend staying on the farm over anywhere else I’ve been. Don’t change anything!

Kyla

Just spent a lovely week at Hoemoor, excellent location for coast and country, the bungalow was very well equipped and the dogs loved the freedom of the garden and fields. The girls loved all the other animals on the farm and such friendly, helpful hosts, we will return.
